Flowermate V5 Nano Vaporizer Review

Introduction

Kronicvapes  Flowermate V5 Nano Vaporizer Review

The V5 Nano by Flowermate is a portable dry herb and oil vaporizer by manufacturers Smiss.  They developed a number of models to make up the V5 series and the Nano is one of the premium models.

Flowermate have built up a respectable reputation within the dry herb vaping community. Their creativity paves the way for good quality, high performing models within the affordable price range.  Nowadays you can spend £200 plus on a vaporizer that performs no better than one half the price. As with anything, brand is key to determining price bracket and well known brands are often able to boost price without any real justification. However, the performance is not always justified by the price.  As a company, Kronicvapes feel that if a vaporizer is truly worth its price tag we will proudly offer it to our customers. We are not the type of company to stock a model because of its brand name alone.

The V5 Nano carries a slightly higher price tag compared to most of the others in the range. Therefore before deciding to the stock the Nano, we thoroughly test our sample version.

With this review we had two main questions to answer: ‘Will the Flowermate v5 Nano live up to its solid reputation built up within the community?’ And ‘Is this vaporizer worth the price tag?’

Our sole intention is to bring decent, affordable vaporizers to the market. Vapes we’d happily use ourselves and can honestly recommend. With this in mind, we have documented our thought process with regards to the V5 Nano and now share why we chose to add it to our collection in the form of a review.

First Impression

The Flowermate V5 Nano’s appearance is one that makes the user looks twice. Not necessarily because it’s the best looking thing you will ever see it’s more like a “What exactly is that?” observation.  At first glance, the first thing that it put us in mind of was a flashy power bank. Its slick rectangular build is deceiving but certainly works for discretion. Complete with its iodized casing, the Nano is very robust with a good quality build.

Looking more closely at how the vape has been put together, it was very pleasing to see that Flowermate put a lot into the thought process when considering portability.  Sliding compartments on either side of the vaporizer play a massive role in this. At the bottom the slider keeps the battery in place and covers the holding space for the mouthpiece when its not in use.  The slider at the top of the vape reveals the ceramic chamber and the mouthpiece insert

Assembling the vape for use was quite satisfying.  The quality look and feel to the Nano whilst in the palm instantly made me think “ Yes I would be very happy if I purchased this model.”

Having a good size OLED screen  provided the finishing touch for a vaporizer that is true premium quality at a very reasonable price.

First impression was a good one for the V5 Nano and scores highly.

 Performance

I think for the majority of us in the dry herb vaping community we expect our device to be somewhat attractive but more often or not how it performs is what matters most ?

The Flowermate V5 Nano is better than what we expected. The power in the punch is way above its weight. Thick and powerful vapor is what the Nano is all about. The conduction/convection style heating gives the user the best of both worlds.

The conduction side ensures the herbs are evenly heated; the convection side provides a smooth but powerful airflow into the lungs. Having both conduction and convection style heating provides the perfect power/taste combination.   Comparatively, the V5 Nano is on par with some of the lower end desktop vaporizers in terms of power. This is real testimony to Flowermate and their production team.

Precise temperature control provides complete customization for the user. However you like your herbs to taste and whatever effect you are hoping to achieve, the Nano’s precise control allows you to dictate this. The temperatures are accurate and in addition it sustains the temperature well.

Combine this with haptic vibration feedback technology that alerts you when your herbs are ready to vape makes the V5 Nano the perfect affordable vaporizer.

Heating times are fairly quick; a little extra time is always required when convection heating is involved. Worth the wait though as the matter is evenly and thoroughly baked. The Nano has a charge time of just under two hours and you will receive a good solid hours vaping session without interruptions. The huge bonus feature of a replaceable battery not only provides the vaporizer with longer life but also gives the user the option of carrying a spare. This makes the V5 Nano the perfect vape if you’re on the go.

Performance wise its clear to see why the V5 Nano is the flagship model of the V5 series. Considering the price it’s one of the most powerful portable vaporizers we have tested so far.

Final Thoughts

The V5 Nano is one of the best vaporizers you can purchase at the £100 mark.  Here at Kronicvapes we were very impressed with every aspect of this model. The first time I personally used the V5 I was genuinely excited. You know when you’ve found a great vape as you can’t wait for all your vaping friends to try it! I was that confident and knew they’d be equally impressed with the Nano’s performance.  This fantastic addition to our range will certainly please anyone who purchases.

It fits perfectly and comfortably into the palm of the hand. Plus, the hidden compartments to store the removable battery and the mouthpiece + conceal the ceramic chamber when not in use is a real touch of class and design ingenuity.

If you’re looking for a little upgrade to your current dry herb vaporizer then look no further.
